It can be useful to know more about your participants when it is time for analysis of your results. For example which user group they belong to, or how often they use the website.

Add up to three questions (more than that and we risk making the whole thing a survey!)

Add and edit cards

Add the cards that the participants will sort into categories. Add as many as you like.

Add cards by importing them from a Microsoft Excel or CSV file. Or type them out here.

Randomising the order the cards are presented helps reduce bias in the results

Copy cards from another project to save time

Edit cards on the website directly if you've imported cards from a file.

Spot labelling patterns at a glance . In this example, it is safe to assume that "Antiques" is likely to be a strong label.

View ALL the labels created by all participants and how often the same label was used. See which cards were placed under each label (across all participants).

Detailed results for individual participants

See how the participant organised cards and what labels they used to describe each category

Click through and see if other participants used the same label

Read any comments that the participant left about the card sort.

Click on card names and see where other participants put that card
